41st All India Accounting Conference & International Seminar

School of Business & Commerce, Manipal University Jaipur and Indian Accounting Association, Sanganer Branch consider it a privilege and matter of great pride to host the 41st All India Accounting Conference & International Seminar on January 05 & 06, 2019.

The Conference would provide a forum for interaction on Contemporary Issues and Developments in Accounting, Finance and allied areas. It would create an interface among professionals, academicians and experts in the field of accounting education and research in India and abroad. The basic theme of this mega Academic and Research event is outlined below:

Members of IAA, Academicians, Scholars, Practitioners, Executives and Students are invited to participate in the International Seminar and Conference by contributing research papers and enrich the deliberations while having an opportunity to interact with eminent scholars, researchers, practitioners and distinguished speakers from India and abroad. The papers must be in usual standard format with an abstract and particulars about authors on the first page.                                              
The Last Date for Submission of Papers: November 30, 2018.

The Notification of Acceptance of papers: December 10, 2018.

The Last Date for Registration Without Late Fees: November 30, 2018.

The Last Date for Registration With Late Fees: December 15, 2018.

Papers will be blind reviewed by a technical committee. Only High Quality Papers would be allowed up to 12-15 minutes for presentation, while only the summary of the Satisfactory Papers will be allowed for about three minutes Presentation/ Poster Presentation. Papers received on or before the stipulated date alone will be considered. One of the authors must attend the Conference and present the paper. The papers along with Registration Form, are to be uploaded on the Conference Website from July, 2018. Accommodation will be arranged for outstation delegates registered by 15th November, 2018, in the Hotels, University Guest Houses or Hostels from 4th January, 2019 to 6th January,2019.

Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

Only original and unpublished work is sought.

Papers must be based on themes and sub-themes of the conference.

Papers must be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length. A title of not more than 15 words should be provided.

Technical Session, as applicable, must be indicated.

An abstract of not more than 300 words should be accompanied. It must indicate study period, sample, research questions, methodology, findings and conclusions/implications.

Text should be printed in Times New Roman with font size 12, typed in 1.5 spaces, A4 paper layout with standard margins (2.54 cm on all four sides).

A full-length paper should follow the structure given below:

  • Introduction: should contain problem statement or research questions and how paper is organised.
  • Literature Review: Enough relevant, past and recent studies should be provided and research gaps must be identified.
  • Methodology: data and study period must be recent and justifications for selecting study periods, sample size, tools and techniques used should be given.
  • Results/Analysis: these should be convincing and also state whether analysis/result/findings support/reject the hypothesis/es.
  • Conclusion: show originally
  • Reference: the paper should contain full bibliographical details and journal titles should not be abbreviated. For within text citations, author’s last name should be followed by comma and year of publications, all in round brackets, e.g. (Fox, 1994). At the end of the paper, there should be a reference list in alphabetical order in APA (6th ed.) format.

Important Note: Kindly note that there is no spot registration. All Delegates (Members, Non-Members and Accompanying Persons) should carry valid photo Identity Card.
